Grilled steak & veggies
Hello! It felt like a steak kind of night. So of course I grilled some steak and veggies to compliment my meal. I like to use pepper on my veggies :) yum!
If your trying to obtain a good healthy ritual ... Try using other spices like "mrs. Dash" grill seasoning.

Steamed chicken & veggies
Hello everyone! Let's eat... I love to steam my chicken.. Today I didn't use
Any spices .. I just placed my veggies on top of my chicken and steamed! Lunch is important so give yourself a
Good healthy meal!
Place raw chicken breast in Pan
Garnish with veggies... Squash,tomato,cilantro & green onion!
Turn over after about 8 min on low. Then place the veggies on top all over again.. Repeat until well cooked!

Lunch time!
I was craving broccoli today so
I grilled some chicken with olive oil..grilled some broccoli and cut
Up some tomato,avocado, green onion and just spread it over my grilled chicken after I put my placed my chicken on the plate :)
Straight up plain Jane! This was good! I've trained myself to eat plain and its the best gift I've given myself.

Bye Bye cellulite...Hello firmer booty & legs!!
Hello! Heres a little routine to start your day off right!
For ALL off us woman...cellulite is always on the back of our minds..but in our case its also popping up around our leg and glutes!! GRRR...when you weight train you can reduce the look of cellulite..TRUE STORY! so here it goes..try this routine and stay with it once a week :)
Wednesday legs & glutes:
barbell squats 6 sets 16,14,12,10,8.6
leg press 3x15
walking lunges 3x15
leg extensions 3x30
leg curl 3x12
hack squat 3x15
air squats 3x25
of course i have to change it up every other week but for now try any of these routines and put them together..see what works for you!

Know your huevos(eggs) !!!
Hello everyone!
Did you know eggs are one of the best protein sources on the planet! Eggs score higher in their protein category .. Higher than milk,beef,whey and soy!
Eggs yolk is actually really good for us.. I usually avoid egg yolk because its high in cholesterol. But It's safe to say yolk IS in fact good for us because after some research i found out that choline which is found inside the egg yolk actually helps prevent the accumulation of cholesterol and fat in the liver!! Wow!!! who would of thought! While I'm not going to stay away completely from my egg whites ..it's good to know egg yolk is good for you! I'll be eating my whole eggs every other day.!! A well balance between yolk and no yolk works for me :)

Triceps & Pilates
It's important to workout every part of your body ... Today I worked out my triceps. I love targeting one muscle at a time every other week. I give my body the attention it deserves :). I also ended my routine with a good 30 min pilates session.. I needed to fuel my soul and recharge.
Pilates is great! I absolutely recommend it. Def gives you the figure you want and also works out your inner strength.. Both mental an physical.

Sunday breakfast
Breakfast is exactly what you need to get your day going. It's very true if you eat breakfast you will end up being thinner than those who don't. I've applied this into my lifestyle and I don't skip breakfast! I'm a happier person because of it :)

You are what you eat???
Hello everyone! Yes i said it "you are what you eat!" No food in your body all day...just water..maybe a cracker .....makes you a "skinny" weightless individual that conforms to "society skinny" its true..lets admit it. THIN IS NOT ALWAYS IN PEOPLE! so by bringing this subject up..what makes a girl or boy turn to a NO FOOD kind of diet? well for starters ..social exceptance can make people do some crazy things. We take things out on ourselves for the damge we are trying to repair in our own lives. A no food diet is self destructive and leads to death. your worth more..you derserve to live and not to conform. you are what you eat and if you DONT eat..you are nothing..sad to say but its true.
lets take the sugar chompin over eaters...okay so you do eat..and it shows. you are what you eat. A huge mcdonalds meal with a side of fries...and thats ok if it were in moderation..but some eat just to eat. depression can lead many to open the fridge late at night or even sneak food. WHY? well i believe its a mental issue as well. Take control of yourselves and start today.
what im trying to get at everyone is that food is our friend...take it for what it is. Its fuel and it gives us the right nutrients to live a healthier and more productive life:) i have always believed that everything is mental..its true..its all mental. If i say to myself "im sick ..im sick..im sick" well then i will become ill and sick! our mind "F****" with us all the time.
Eat clean..and the results will surprise you. your attitude will change and your sex life may even get better! Self confidence is important and it shows when you feel great! so give it a whirl!
Think HEALTHY LIFESTYLE and you will LIVE A HEALTHIER LIFE. Ive learned to control the way i think and be positive no matter the situation. im not saying that you have to be a size zero! goodness no...im just saying you owe it to yourself to feel better in your own skin. do it for your kids ..do it for you.

Portobello mushroom BBQ chicken burger!
Ssooo good! Who said you can't have a Biggo chicken burger??
I wanted to eat a burger minus the guilty feeling ... So.. I put this little baby together! It's so good! I hope you all like it ! Yum!

Add some pepper to the chicken and place some green onions on top!
Once your chicken is cooked .. Pour a tablespoon of your fave BBQ Sauce.. In this case I used a low fat low sodium BBQ sauce :) Let it simmer really good!
Next grill the portobello mushrooms. With some olive oil and let them warm up a bit .. Don't leave them
In their to long .
Here comes the fun part!!

I grilled asparagus on the side for my "French fry effect" lol an some brown rice :)

Multigrain pancakes & waffle mix!!
Omg!! I've just had the best little pancakes ever! By the way .. I've always been a "no thank you I don't eat pancakes" kind of girl... I wish
How many times have you said " I wish" I looked like that... Or "I wish i could fit into my old shorts" . Or " I wish I could loose weight" YOU CAN! It is possible .. Dont wish ... Do it! To my body. A strong core is made in the kitchen ..
Grilled chicken with pepper, Sautee. Red peppers and squeeze lemon in the chicken for flavor!
In a small pot.. Boil water.. Add mushrooms..green onion..chicken...carrots...baby sprouts & add squeeze lemon for flavor. I also added some noodles I got at the Chinese dept at my local grocery store. I need to try these bad boys out.
Remember to eat CLEAN.. Add lemon
... Anything natural that will spice your lunch up.. You don't have to have organic everything but trying new things will do your body good.

Back & Chest workout :)
Hello everyone! Today I managed to start off with my daily routine and actually be successful at it. Stretched out for 10 min .. And decided to do some weight bench exercises as well as free weight back routines. I incorporate Of Pilates in my routines .. Especially after such a hectic week last week. Being able to pick my own body weight up is a must for me.
I feel it rather empowering being able to work out my chest & back while
Doing Pull ups. Being able to know your body is important. I know that by picking my own body up I've already mastered a great workout. A strong core is very important and this is generally where we get our strength from:) master your body weight .. Conquer your routine!

Fit after baby? Is it possible?
Now let me just say that "fit" comes in many diff versions to everyone. Some may agree that " toned & thin" is what fit. Well I disagree ... No one has the same body ... Everyone is dealing with their own insecurities ... So why work toward the same size? What I say is find a goal that is reasonable for you! Do it for you and nobody else. Losing the baby weight is possible
Now remember it does take time.. Just like it took 9 months for your baby to be born .. Well think about all the work you must put forth after your baby is born. Be patient ... You will get there .. Have a plan .. And execute it. My Love as always !! Goodnight

Green herb spinach chicken & sprout wrap
Dinner is my favorite part Of my day :) I'm sure everyone wants to chow down as soon as you get home ! So here's a little something I hope everyone enjoys!

Know your yogurt
Yogurts come in different flavors but what makes for a great yogurt? Well ... I've learned that the best ones out there are the plain yogurt! Check the labels and real yogurts have a LAC label... Hmmm what's that you ask? Well the NYA national yogurt association has developed a label to making sure that all real yogurt is approved by them. LAC stands for live active cultures so anything that doesn't say this on the label isnt the real deal people! Some may say "made with active cultures " but they are NOT what you want to get. Look for the LAC label. The best yogurt is always plain .. High in protein and low in sugar.. Now you know :)

Mushrooms are fungus ! Yup it's true but because they grow even in the most unlikely places they are able to absorb and safety eliminate toxins!! So of course I want to eat em up because im sure they would serve a great purpose inside my body! Mushrooms are loaded with vitamins ... The shroom "maitake" has a special Polysaccharide component named beta-1,6 glucan... What they do Is stimulate your immune system! Many people fighting infections tend to eat more "mushrooms" lets keep the trend going ....I went to the farmers market and found some nice big ones! Of course there are so many to choose from but in the end .. They are all family :) Therye great for ya and just plain delish! eat them up an your body will thank you !

A cardio kind of day
Hello everyone! Having a great cardio session is important... For example .. I find it fitting that after a week long recovery or even a week long vacation .. Cardio cardio cardio is a great way to get started. Whether you run,walk, spin anything that makes you sweat is a plus. I myself had to cardio it up .. I did 30 minutes on the stepper and Then another 30 min on the elliptical .. Why? Because I wanted to feel alive. The feeling I get from the sweat dripping own my spine makes it all worth it. Getting a great cardio workout is really up to you... YOU have the right to choose your own path... Why not make it fun! Pump up some music and get sweating people!

yo-yo diet?
what keeps everyone from a succesful fit lifestyle? Many would agree stress,work,marriage, children and the endless decay of fast food restaurants have alot to do with it. YO-YO diets are hard to break. We have al been there..done that. BUT what changes the game? I believe a good schedule and plan motivates the willing to achieve a healthy norm. Plan ahead....visit the market and shop smart & clean.
Ill be visiting the grocery store tomorrow and ill post exactly what i get. Motivate yourself to discard the yo-yo mentality and embrace the everyday "healthy norm" good night to all ;)

what is the new skinny?
Ive realized that in my life weight has always been an issue. Mental is just as hard as physical. Acceptance is always the hardest. So how do we cope with society and its "skinny" social status? For starters we start by loving the person we have become and work for "healthy" not "social skinny" the rules have changed.....no more stick & bones...strong is in and its rewards are a "longer & healthier life"
